I am from Greece so I will try to give you my point of view about SYRIZA

SYRIZA is a coalition of minor political groups and tendencies that include marxists, euro-communists, social-democrats, ecologists, and social liberals. About 40% of the party members in the central committee belong to the left-wing. The SYRIZA party is not very patriotic and they do not like orthodoxy.

Their real voting power is about 4-5%. They got 36% as a protest vote because the greek people are in a desperate situation and they hate the former governing parties.

But despite of the SYRIZA "ideology" and rhetoric, they are fully supportive of EU and EUROZONE.
Also, SYRIZA has cultivated links with USA institutions like LEVY Institute and Brookings. They have the false belief that they can change EU from within. Thats ridiculous.

SYRIZA has given many promises but things are not optimistic, the greek economy is in ruins and Greece can not be truly sovereign as far as it is a member of EU-EUROZONE so as to implement effective policies.

The new finance minister is Yanis Varoufakis who is a globalist and pro-EU, close associate of George Soros. He has promised that the negotiations about the debt will not endanger the greek participation into Eurozone. That means that the new government will not put a lot of pressure to the EU.

The new foreign minister is Nikos Kotzias who is an ex communist and a university professor, and he has many links with Russian politicians and intellectuals. There are reports that he also had contacts with Dugin.

Alexis Tsipras Most Outrageous Outburst Yet?

Speaking in May 2014 (ahead of Ukraine's elections) new Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras made very clear why he is now against Germany's push for further sanctions against Russia.

Via VoR,

[The SYRIZA] party believes that the new government in Ukraine came to power as a result of a coup, and call it a junta.

"We should not accept or recognize the government of neo-Nazis in Ukraine," the Athens News Agency quotes Tsipras who believes that the Ukrainian people should decide their future themselves.

Speaking about different peoples' movements for self-determination, Tsipras said that the European left respected the right to self-determination, but nationalism and clashes could not lead to positive results.

"We in the EU should not give preference to changing borders, but must respect the position of the peoples, who have decided to create a Federation within the state," said the SYRIZA leader.

Tsipras added,

the EU must change in order to survive; the EU lacks democracy, and citizens do not believe that their vote can change policy.

The New Greek Government Arrives In Its Residence: Finds No Power, No Wifi Password And No Toilet Soap

Things in Greece are bad. So bad, that the outgoing government of Antonis Samaras decided to not only leave the new inhabitants of the official residence of the Greek prime minister, the Maximos Mansion, without power, and without the WiFi password, but they decided to "borrow" all the soap in the toilet as well.

Da, Syriza "is over-hyped".
