SHUT US UP AND SHUT US DOWN
The true Watchmen are sounding out the warning
But there are those who want to:
Shut us up and shut us down
Some want to turn this move of God around.
The evil powers that be spent years to get us here
They will stop at nothing using laws and threats and fear.
The true Watchmen are sounding out the warning
Censoring Truth could be the local church in town.
Calling the Truth intolerant I am perplexed
Where is tolerance of sin taught in the Biblical text?
The true Watchmen are sounding out the warning
But there are those who want to:
Shut us up and shut us down
Satan desires the Watchmen’s voice to drown.
When God moves, the gates of hell will not prevail
God or His watchmen will not be silenced or curtailed.
The true Watchmen are sounding out the warning,
There may be those who want to shut us up and shut us down - but:
The Watchmen will not shut up!
God will not be shut down!
The deniers will drink from a bitter cup
They will meet the Sword of the Lord in the final showdown.
